I’m offering a few stand-alone workshops this year and the first workshop is on prototyping! For those of you who have taken a course with me, you’ll know that prototyping is one of the most useful and valuable strategies when life designing. I am continually prototyping in my own life and work. I find that it not only helps with gaining clarity around my priorities and next steps when I’m feeling stuck or ambivalent, but also boosts my confidence and courage when I’m apprehensive or unsure. This workshop was a prototype for a series I’m developing! I also started ballet lessons this year thanks to the option to ‘drop in’ to a few classes (prototype) before committing.
Prototyping is a ‘slow design’ approach in which small steps are taken, allowing time to observe, reflect, and iterate. It’s also a ‘fail fast, fail forward’ strategy, where mistakes are caught early and adjustments made without having invested significant resources of time, energy, or money. My life design work is built on a foundation of prototyping as I’ve adapted and iterated both the content and delivery approach to best meet your needs and the changing context of our lives.
In this workshop, you’ll be guided through a series of questions and writing prompts to clarify your next steps and move confidently in that direction. The aim of the workshop is for you to have a concrete plan, and the tools and strategies for continuing to prototype as you move forward. This will be a small group workshop so there will be an opportunity to share a bit about your ideas and prototypes for those who would like to.
The workshop is on Sunday, February 4, 1:30 - 3:30 on zoom.
Workshop fee is $30.00
