Are you exploring a new direction, navigating a transition, or addressing the question of ‘what comes next’? It’s not unusual to have periods of feeling stuck, unsure of your direction, or unclear about how to get where you’d like to be.
I am a Registered Social Worker specializing in supporting people who are navigating periods of change and uncertainty. Many of the people I have worked with are in the midst of career, retirement, and other life transitions. They may be embarking on or completing post secondary education, starting, changing, or advancing careers, considering a new direction, or exploring retirement options.
I have worked with a wide range of people and groups, and continue to learn about and share the best evidence backed and current ideas, practices, and tools. I offer a solution-focused, practical, and experiential approach to gaining a clear sense of direction, and designing and building a more joyful, meaningful, and purposeful career and life.
It was my own journey of navigating a career change in midlife that led me to actively begin researching the best approaches for successfully moving through life transitions and 'figuring things out'. My courses, workshops, and individual sessions are informed and guided by my background in social work, research, and education (MSW, RSW, PhD), as well as my training in design thinking through the Stanford University Life Design Lab and career development through the British Columbia Career Development Association.
Former clients say they have experienced important shifts in the way they navigate transitions and build more joyful and meaningful careers and lives.

REGENERATIVE LIFE DESIGN:
In this course, you will learn the ideas, principles, and strategies for gaining a clear sense of direction and building the career and life you envision for yourself. Rather than worrying, wondering, and feeling ‘stuck’, you will figure out what a good life looks like to you, and actively begin designing and building it. As part of a small and supportive group, you will move forward with confidence and clarity, while strengthening accountability and commitment.
RETIREMENT BY DESIGN
Retirement can be a period of deep meaning, purpose, connection, and joy. Many of us will have decades long retirements, but beyond financial planning, there are few resources, services, or supports to help us figure out how to create the retirement we would like. Without knowing how to navigate this transition, it’s not unusual to end up feeling disconnected or directionless.
This course is for those who would like to learn how to design and build a meaningful, enriching, and engaging retirement. Together with a small group, this experiential, practical, and interactive course will guide and support you to figure out what a good retirement looks like to you, and actively begin building it.
DESIGN YOUR CREATIVE LIFE
Living life as an artist or creative can be deeply rewarding, joyful, and meaningful. It can also be challenging and isolating. There are often difficult and complex decisions to be made about your priorities and direction. With competing demands on your time and energy, you may feel the need to fulfill many diverse roles, often in isolation.
The Art of Life Design is for aspiring, emerging, and professional artists and creatives. You may be exploring a new direction or idea, addressing the question of ‘what comes next?’, or wondering how to build the creative life you envision for yourself. You will learn to apply design thinking to figure out what a good creative life looks like to you, and actively begin to design and build it.
MASTERMIND GROUPS:
Mastermind groups are for those who have a clear sense of direction, and would like the opportunity to foster a meaningful and supportive connection with an inspiring community of peers.
If you are wondering ‘what comes next’ or are feeling stuck, these individual sessions provide you with the ideas, strategies, and tools you need to move forward with a clear sense of direction. We will work together to guide and challenge you to design a life of purpose, meaning, and joy.
